SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND RECOMENDATIONS

SUMMARY

This paper aimed to determine what is preventing Original Pinoy Music to dominate in our own country.

The research design used in this study is the descriptive research method wherein data from documents, electronic articles, (interviews, and surveys). The data collected were used to answer the research question posed. The research findings are the following:

1. The factors which prevents OPM to be on top of our playlists; International music such as KPop music and American Music and Piracy.

2. Filipino artists still fight for the sake of OPM by making programs like song writing competition.

3. Many Filipino still listen to OPM


CONCLUSION

Based on the findings of the study the following conclusion:

1. Not only iternational song affect OPM to rise again.

2.We should take a huge step in order to protect and preserve OPM.

RECOMMENDATION

  After drawing the conclusions of the study, the researcher hereby make the following suggestions/recommendations:

1. For us to protect our culture from the unpredictable flow of this new generation, let us continue making music for the country.Support all OPM artists and their songs. Do not hesitant to listen to OPM because it's Filipino and it's our.

2. Future Researchers should design a study on possible research in possible future innovation in the process in finding more evidence to prove this study.
